Mark & Naomi
The Mill at Ballydugan
3 Aug 17
What a day this was!!!
As most weddings do, the day started early. When I arrived to photograph the morning preparations, the rain had just started, but it didn't last long. Music was playing in the background, there were smiles and conversation as all the girls were having their hair and make-up done. The vintage cars sat outside in the driveway. It was such a relaxed and fun morning.
A few more photos, then we were all on our way to the church. One of the vintage cars did not start, so 2 of the bridesmaids had to jump in to my car.
The ceremony hall was stunning, with grand, high ceilings, rich red walls, with pillars dotted around. Everyone waited for the brides entrance, especially Mark, who was suited up and waiting at the front.
After the beautiful ceremony, it was a fresh cream and jam scones outside, courtesy of Crumb & Beyond, then a drive to The Mill At Ballydugan. It was set-up to perfection. After the family portraits, speeches and the very tasty meal, Mark and Naomi took to the dancefloor for their first dance. After a short while I asked them to come with me across to the lakeside for some photos as the sun dropped below the horizon. It was nearly 10pm and the sunset was perfect.
A beautiful way to finish the day.
